Eleven years ago, the position of music director at Graham County Schools made the transition from Joseph Earp to a new, fresh-out-of-college director, Jameson Stout.
As a senior in high school, Stout’s band program underwent a director transition.

Graham County Schools announced Tuesday afternoon that a commencement ceremony is set to be held at Modeal Walsh Memorial (Big Oaks) Stadium on Saturday, July 18 at 10 a.m.

Eliza (Liz) L. Simons, 92, of Jacksonville, Fla. – formerly of Robbinsville, N.C. and Fairbury, Ill. – passed away at 7:58 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2020, at her residence in Jacksonville, Fla.
She will be buried in Yellow Creek Cemetery in Robbinsville, N.C. Graveside services are pending.

Town of Robbinsville avoids costly sewer repair

Robbinsville – A non-functioning sewer jet is back in action for the town.
As part of the May 6 Robbinsville Board of Alderman teleconference, Mayor Steve Hooper informed everyone that while the sewer jet has been repaired and is working once again, a $1,672.
