On Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, JoAnn Buchanan Greene, 84, went home to be with the Lord, while many of her family and friends were by her side.  She was a native of Graham County, where she lived her entire life.

Jason Earl Lequire, 39 of the Stecoah Community of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away, Monday, Dec. 28, 2020 in New Hampshire. He was the son of Kathy Daniels Cody and Danny Cody of the Stecoah Community, and Mackie Lequire of Robbinsville, N.C.

Joe Mehaffey

Joseph Ray Mehaffey, 76 of Mars Hill, N.C., formally of Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020.   He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Ed and Birdell Postell Mehaffey; a brother, Ronnie Mehaffey; and a sister, Margie Sue Mehaffey.

Bruce Kellum

Bruce R. Kellum, 60 of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away on Friday, Jan. 1, 2021. at his residence. Bruce was truly a Godly man; he walked it and spoke it. Bruce attended Norwich University as a history major.

Joseph Marley

Joseph M. Marley, 81 of Robbinsville, N.C., previously of St. Petersburg, Fla., died Friday, Dec. 25, 2020, surrounded by his wife of 58 years, Carolyn, and family. Joe was preceded in death by his parents Ann and Joseph Marley, and brother James Marley.

T.J. Edwards

T.J. Edwards, 90 of Union Mills, N.C., passed away on Friday, Dec. 25 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.  T.J. was a native of Graham County, the son of the late Monroe and Rosa Lee West Edwards, and the husband to the late Rilla Edwards.  T.J.

Margie George Brank

Margie Grant George Brank, 89 of the Tallulah community in Robbinsville, N.C., went to her eternal home Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020.  A native of Graham County, she was the daughter of Marvin and Lily Grant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C.N.

Ann Marie Page

Ann Marie Paige, child of God, passed away Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020, after a brief illness. Ann was born on April 24, 1965 to James and Eldred Paige of Stecoah, N.C., deceased.

Mary Ann Christiansen

Mary Ann Hyde Christiansen, 75 of the Dick Branch Community in Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020 at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn. A native of Graham County, she was the daughter of the late Edward Glenn and Nettie Louise Hedrick Hyde.

Ted Norcross, Jr.

On Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020, Ted McKillip Norcross, Jr. – loving husband and father of three children – passed at the age of 79.  Ted was born on March 15, 1941 in Miami, Fla. to Ted McKillip Norcross, Sr. and Marie Norcross. He grew up in Miami, Fla.
