William Albritton

William Bradford Albritton, age 81 of Andrews, N.C. passed away Friday, Oct. 23, 2020, at his residence. William was a native of Auburn, Maine and the son of the late John and Deborah Bradford Albritton. He owned and operated a knife shop, and was a knife grinder by trade.

Tony Odom

Tony Lamar Odom, 69 of Robbinsville, N.C., was called home to meet his Savior on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020 at Graham Healthcare and Rehabilitation. A native of Graham County, he was the son of the late Harvey and Blanche Orr Odom.

Gerald Buchanan

Gerald Max Buchanan, 81 of the Buchanan Branch Community in Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be with his Lord on Friday, Oct. 16, 2020. He was a native of Graham County and the son of the late Jake and Vinnie Wiggins Buchanan.

Amy Smoker

Amy Smoker, 91, a Cherokee Language fluent speaker of the Snowbird Community in Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020, at The Elizabeth House in Hendersonville, N.C.  Ms. Amy is the daughter of the late Jesse Teesateskie and Polly Catt Bird Teesateskie.

Sam McClung

Sam McClung, 81 of the Atoah Community in Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 9, 2020, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, N.C. A native of Graham County, he was the son of the late Clyde and Edrie Lovin McClung.

Julia Turpin

Julia Wayne Turpin, (Judy), passed away Friday, Oct. 2, 2020. Her parents, Jack and Rosel Ditmore Turpin; her sister, June Lambert; and a special red-headed nephew, Billy, preceded her in death. Julia moved to Atlanta after graduating from Robbinsville High School in 1963.

Jeff Oswalt, Sr.

On Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020, Jeff Oswalt, Sr. left to his heavenly home to be with his mother, Louise Oswalt, father, Jim Oswalt and sister, Dia Harmon.  At age 62, he was a decorated veteran with numerous deployments. After retiring from the Greenville, Miss.

Anne Longbrake

Anne Prator Longbrake, 73 of the Mountain Creek Community of Robbinsville, N.C. passed away, Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020 at Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital in Murphy, N.C. She was a native of Florida and the daughter of the late John and Frances Turner Prator.

Louise Williams

Louise Colvin Williams, 69 of Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Dock and Hattie Worley Colvin; and her infant twin sister, Elouise.

Wallace Williams

Wallace Williams, 81 of Sharon, S.C. passed away on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020. Wallace was born on Jan. 6, 1939 in Robbinsville, N.C. He was the son of the late J. Marion Williams and Stacy Jackson Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers.
