Fannie Hyde, age 86 of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 at her residence. She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Columbus and Lola Farr Anderson.

Jeannette Sue Teesateskie

Jeannette Sue Rattler Teesateskie, 89, of the Snowbird Community went home to be with the Lord on Saturday May 23, 2020.  A native of Snowbird, she was the daughter of the late Cain Saunooke and Lucy Smoker Rattler, and wife of the late Tom Teesateskie.

Virginia Pearlene Beasley

Virginia Pearlene Waldroup Beasley (Pearlene), left Harris Regional Hospital for her heavenly home on Saturday, May 23, 2020.  A native of Graham County, she was the daughter of the late William Bryant Waldroup and Martha Alice May Waldroup.

Rev. Kevin Brooks

The Rev. Kevin Brooks, 48 of Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 22, 2020 at his residence, while surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of Bobby and Roma Phillips Brooks of Robbinsville, N.C.

Eliza L. Simons

Eliza (Liz) L. Simons, 92, of Jacksonville, Fla. – formerly of Robbinsville, N.C. and Fairbury, Ill. – passed away at 7:58 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2020, at her residence in Jacksonville, Fla.  She will be buried in Yellow Creek Cemetery in Robbinsville, N.C. Graveside services are pending.

James Henry Crisp

James Henry Crisp, 86, of Robbinsville passed away Monday, May 11, 2020 at Graham Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Robbinsville. Henry was a native of Graham County and the son of the late Noah and Nora Bailey Crisp.

Willa Mae Millsaps

Willa Mae Sawyer Millsaps, 67, of Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Willard and Mary Jane Sawyer.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Shannon David Sawyer.

Aileen Dusk Lusk

Aileen Dula Lusk, 94, of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Graham Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Robbinsville. A native of Graham County, she was the daughter of the late J.J. and Iva Lee Phillips Dula.

Henry Lee King

On May 5, 2020, Henry Lee King was suddenly called home to be with the Lord from his home at King’s Grocery in Bryson City, N.C.  Henry was born in Bryson City to the late Hill and Vesta King on Oct. 24, 1937.

Brody Ty Phillips

Brody Ty Phillips, age 30, passed away Monday, May 4, 2020. He was a native of Graham County and the son of Eddie and Latresa Webster Phillips of Robbinsville, N.C. He was the grandson of Larry and Sara Webster, Betty Phillips and the late Leonard (J.L.) Phillips all of Robbinsville, N.C.
